Dear Friends of the Idaho State Liquor Division,
We are currently upgrading our enterprise resource planning (ERP) software and systems. These business management applications will improve our ability to efficiently do business in many ways, from inventory management and financial accounting to upgrading supplier/broker and licensee ordering portals to the activation of 2024 rare whiskey lotteries, and more.
As is often the case with complicated software conversions, guaranteeing final implementation occurs perfectly is paramount. To provide the best customer service to you and to ensure flawless execution of rare whiskey lotteries, the Division is delaying the highly anticipated annual Pappy Van Winkle and Buffalo Trace Antique Collection (BTAC) lottery. This is the one lottery event of the year that draws overwhelming interest from Idahoans, who are the only valued customers that may enter for a chance to purchase these fine, rare whiskies.
We intend to conduct one small whiskey lottery with three products as a test in May. Once we’re satisfied with the result, registration for the lottery of 300+ bottles of Pappy Van Winkle and BTAC Antique Collection will open. The state of Idaho receives a limited supply of rare spirits. Therefore, we created a lottery. All interested parties will be entered into that lottery and winners will be chosen using a random number generator. Selected entrants will be contacted with an email link to purchase. Non-selected entrants will not be notified. Due to the limited nature of these products, only one entry per person, per bottle. DUPLICATE ENTRIES DISQUALIFY ALL ENTRIES.
Entrants must be Idaho residents or active-duty military personnel stationed in Idaho.
READ THIS CAREFULLY
The entrant’s name must match EXACTLY on the entry form and the ID presented at the time of pick up. NO EXCEPTIONS! Bottles must be purchased within 72-hours of receiving a link to purchase. Purchased bottles must be picked up from retail within 14-days of receiving notification that the bottle is ready for pickup. Unclaimed bottles will be re-entered into a re-draw.
